We collect standard internet log information and basic details of visitor behaviour. We do this so that we can monitor and improve our website and services. We collect this information in a way that does not personally identify anyone. - to maintain a private register of SIA licence holders
- to maintain a private register of keyholdings, mobiles and alarm response
- to inform you about TrustOn and its activities

- because it is necessary, in relation to taking steps to enter into a contract with you and/or performance of a contract with you
We may receive information about you from others or we may give information to them. If we do, it will only be as the law permits:

To help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter we may gather statistics around e-mail opening and clicks using industry standard technologies. Any collected data and e-mail addresses will not be used, shared, sold or rented in any shape or form.
Where We Store Your Personal Data
We store all of your personal details on a secure stand alone server, within the European Economic Area and where necessary hard copy backups in locked cabinets at our head office.
We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
