Buying low cost security might be appealing and seem the right choice in this economic environment but stop a minute to think about the possible consequences of choosing a company that doesn’t properly screen or train their staff. We all know that research is the key when selecting a supplier. Trust in that supplier is imperative, especially in this industry, and in order to achieve that before a good working relationship develops you need to ask the right questions.

Are you licensed and insured?
Everyone that works at TrustOn is licensed by the SIA (Security Industry Authority), in either a front-line or non-front-line capacity.
In addition, each year we go through rigorous assessments with both the SIA (as an Approved Contractor) and an Alcumus (as a Safe Contractor).
Do your staff go through a vetting and screening process?
The short answer is YES! We put all prospective employees through a 5-year screening programme, which involves credit checks, employment history checks, social media checks and much, much more. In addition we check SIA licences for all our employees each month to ensure they have not been revoked.

How do you monitor your guards?
We use TrackTik, a state of the art piece of reporting software that works in real time. This gives us and more importantly you, if you want it, a real time view of what the officer is doing. Safety is very important to us, so we ask all the officers to complete check calls every hour when they are on shift, and our vehicles and phones all have tracking software in case of an incident.
